Redmi 9T and Note 9T are launched with interesting technical sheet and friendly price

Xiaomi launched on Friday (08/01/2020) two new smartphones: redmi 9T and redmi Note 9T 5G. Although it bears the "T" in the name, the two devices are actually renamed versions of the Poco M3 and Note 9 5G, respectively, launched in China in November 2020.

Of course, the redmi Note 9T 5G is the most powerful model of the two and brings the chipset Dimensity 800U 5G of MediaTek, while the redmi 9T comes with a Snapdragon processor 662 and a huge 6,000 mAh battery.

Starting with the most interesting of the two, the Redmi Note 9T 5G has a 6.53-inch screen with Full HD + resolution and 60 Hz refresh rate, ideal for watching movies and series with satisfactory quality. According to Xiaomi, the audiovisual experience is completed by two stereo speakers, the first model in the line with the novelty.

Inside, the device features the MediaTek Dimensity 5G chip with a maximum speed of 2.4 GHz. According to Xiaomi, the Taiwanese chip is 95% more powerful than the intermediate Snapdragon 665, although this comparison is not very fair. In addition, it has a giant 5,000 mAh battery with fast charging support of 22.5 W (with charger included in the box).

In the camera department, the Redmi Note 9 5G has three sensors at the rear, led by a 48 MP. The second camera is a 2 MP macro and the third, a sensor focused on a depth of just 2 MP. For selfies, it has a 13 MP sensor. The Chinese brand also highlights the presence of NFC in the European version, in addition, to support for Radio FM.

The Redmi Note 9T 5G will go on sale from January 11th in Europe in two versions: 4 GB of RAM + 64 GB of internal storage and 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. The most basic version will reach the European market for 229 euros, while the most complete will cost 269 euros (R $ 1.7 thousand).

Under the hood, the Redmi 9T features Qualcomm's Snapdragon 662 chipset and will hit the market in two versions: 4 GB + 64 GB and 4 GB + 128 GB. Its main highlight is the huge 6,000 mAh battery, the largest capacity ever found in a Xiaomi phone. Like the Redmi Note 9T 5G, the Redmi 9T will be sold with a 22.5 W charger in the box.

In the cameras, the smartphone has a quadruple set at the rear, with a 48 MP main camera, an ultrawide camera, a macro camera and a depth sensor. Xiaomi also highlights versions of devices that support NFC approach technology, but prices change compared to models without the feature.

In its most basic version, with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage, the Redmi 9T will cost 159 euros without NFC and 169 euros in the option with NFC. The model with 4 GB + 128 GB will be sold for 189 euros without the feature and 199 euros in the version with NFC.
