Nokia C5 Endi, Nokia C2 Tava and Nokia C2 Tennen details

What HMD Global and Nokia brings us are three cheap smartphones with especially interesting capabilities given their prices.

It is necessary to clarify that, at least for the moment, both the Nokia C5 Endi, the Nokia C2 Tava, and the Nokia C2 Tennen are exclusive devices to buy in the United States with plans from the Cricket Wireless provider.

That said, we can go on to detail its characteristics. These three new Nokia smartphones have LCD screens with HD + image resolutions but with different aspect ratios.

For the Nokia C5 Endi with a 6.51-inch screen, its HD + resolution is 19: 9 aspect ratio, while for the Nokia C2 Tava and Tennen is 18: 9 aspect ratio HD + resolution.

The processors of these smartphones are all MediaTek but for the Nokia C5 Endi it is an Helio P22 and for the Nokia C2 Tava and Tennen it is an Helio A22.

In terms of internal memory, the Nokia C5 Endi is also favored: 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage against 2GB of RAM with 32 and 64GB of storage.

All the storage options of these entry-level phones can be expanded by up to 128GB via microSD card.

A more than generous option in the case of mid-lower hierarchy smartphones. Usually, these types of devices often skimp, especially on power and storage.

But their diet is not subpar either. The Nokia C5 Endi, for example, has a 4000mAh battery, and the Nokia C2 Tennen and Tava have removable 3000mAh batteries.

In all three cases, they have fast charging technology of up to 10W of power, which is not much but it will be able to charge the Nokia C5 and Nokia C2 in less than two hours.

If we turn to the cameras we can talk about 5MP selfie cameras on the thick top bezels of the Nokia C2 Tava and Nokia C2 Tennen, but a slightly better 8MP camera in the front drop-shaped notch of the Nokia C5 Endi .

However, the differences are further accentuated by turning these teams around.

The Nokia C5 Endi sports an attractive triple camera in the new circular compartment design. Its main 13MP sensor on a wide-angle lens is accompanied by a 5MP sensor on an ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP depth sensor.

The Nokia C2 Tava and Tennen, meanwhile, have dual-lens back cameras: an 8MP main sensor on a wide-angle lens accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor.

Nokia announces the Nokia C5 Endi in a single navy color and priced at approximately $ 170. The Nokia C2 Tava and Nokia C2 Tennen are presented respectively in navy blue and light gray and with the same price tag: approximately US $ 110.

Nokia in the USA

Nokia has never been well known for its presence in the United States, either due to the lack of partnerships with local operators or because of the prioritization of European telephone systems.

Not even during the " Microsoft phase " did the company reach a considerable share of the local market.

The new devices signal a different approach in the U.S., with operator Cricket - a low-cost subsidiary / MVNO of the giant AT&T - having already launched two models of the Finnish brand in 2019.

C5 Endi

The Nokia C5 Endi adopts the nomenclature of an old Finnish line, with devices equipped with the Symbian system. The Endi leaves the factory equipped with Android 10, displayed on a 6.5-inch screen with HD + resolution.

While the selfie camera occupies a drop-shaped cutout at the front, the main camera set features three sensors - 13 MP main, 5 MP wide-angle, and 2 MP depth sensor - in a circular module with the flash. At the rear, the fingerprint reader is located.

C2 Tava / Tennen

The basic C2 Tava and C2 Tennen are the same models, differentiating themselves only by color, price, and how to buy: blue on Tava, available from Cricket, and gray on Tennen, for sale in department stores.

The phone features a 5.45-inch screen and HD + resolution, with borders at the top and footer.

The specifications include a MediaTek Helio A22 processor, with 2 GB of RAM and storage options with 16 or 32 GB, also with a memory card slot.

The battery of the C2 twins has 3,000 mAh, with an estimated autonomy also in two days, according to Nokia.
